Dieting during the Holidays=HELL

Welcome to my blog about making Diet and Nutrition more fun!

75% of all Americans have weight to lose.  It’s a fact.  If you had to carry 2 gallons of milk around all day you’d get tired, right?  Your back would hurt.  Your knees would begin to hurt. Most of us carry around more extra weight than 2 gallons of milk weigh.  So imagine how much relief your body would feel to lose that weight…or more?  Pretty nice!

I live in the Midwest.  It seems once the weather begins to get cold all the food related holidays begin.  First Halloween, followed by the hugest meal ever….Thanksgiving!  Then we have a month of cookies, pies, parties with alcohol laden drinks…and what does that spell?  An extra 10 lbs for me, that’s for sure!

So– Diet is usually a 4 letter word to most of us. How can we make the Holidays fun without the pressure of not eating?  This little blog will supply you with articles, tips, recipes and more to get you through the holidays (and the year) so you can still have fun yet not pack on the pounds.
